My name is Alaina Forbes and I am the owner and teacher of Sign and
Play. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Communicative Disorders
from the University of Central Florida in 1996. I also attended
multiple American Sign Language classes there and at Front Range
Community College in Westminster. My first son was born in 2000 and I
taught him sign language as an infant. I was amazed at the results and
decided to start offering classes in my free time. I became a presenter
through the SIGN with your BABY® company and have been teaching in the
Denver metro area since 2001. I now have three young children all who
have learned American Sign Language and I hope to continue
teaching them more as they get older. Please feel free to contact me
